, Denver, Colorado
Rafting Master and THE MAN

This summer marks Dave's 29th year with Anderson Camps. From humble beginnings as a lowly counselor (one of his campers was Christopher Porter, the current Director) Dave has stuck out the years and heads the rafting program. Dave also helps keep order amongst the boys on the Hill, and he keeps the rafts afloat. During the non-camping season, Dave teaches science to seventh-graders in suburban Denver, where he earns many accolades, including Teacher of the Year. This summer Dave will be leaving us for a few weeks to raft the Grand Canyon. He may be able to squeeze one of us into his dry bag, so start sucking up now to see if you’ll be the lucky winner!

John & Sally Gragg, Poplar Bluff, "Missoura"
Fleet Excercise, Lawn Grooming, & Wardrobe

John has worked on and off for Anderson Camps for the last 30 years, and has worked under all three owners. He definitely rates Christopher in the top 3. John teaches science during the rest of the year. His wife, Sally, and sons, Seth and Adam, have all either worked for or attended camp in the past, too. After 30 years teaching in Missouri, John and Sally's phraze of choice for the summer is, "don't bother me, I'm retired."

Scott Froemming, Downers Grove, Illinois
Media specialist, Professional Fun-haver and Webmaster

Scott is new on the scene at Anderson Camps, humbly trying to fill the shoes of the infamous Adam Hendry. This is his first summer in Colorado, but previously he has spent time carving the mountains on his snowboard. He is a recent graduate of Southern Illinois University, where he studied Mass Communications and Media Arts and Public Relations. In his free time (and work time), Scott enjoys taking pictures and "making movies." His other interests include most things outdoors, fishing, snowboarding, video games, frisbee, and juggling objects with his feet. His motto is live life to the fullest because you only get one shot.

Robert Dandy, Avon, Colorado
Dishwasher/Photographer

He is an overly faithful camper of 9 years happily participating in the attempts to make each campers experience as enjoyable as his own. He spends his time playing football and lacrosse, or living on the ski slopes of Vail. Robert was given the honor of naming a camp horse a few years ago and, humbly, bestowed the name of “Dandy” upon the blessed animal.

Teresa Davis, Gallipolis, Ohio
10 Day Nurse

This is Teresa's second year at Anderson and she has a daughter who has previously attended camp. Teresa hails from Southeastern Ohio along the Ohio/West Virginia border. Teresa is married with four children and three grandchildren. She works for a private not for profit Social Service Agency that provides services to children and adults with developmental disabilities.
Diane Purse, Eagle, Colorado
1st Session Nurse

This is Diane's fourth summer at Anderson Camps. During the rest of the year she is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Eagle County. She lives with her husband, Todd, and her two sons, Chris(17) and Tyler(15). She loves to hike, bike, swim, raft and camp. She is a triathlete and loves to compete.
Patricia "Patty" Staupe, Murphy, Texas
2nd Session Nurse

Patty graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University in 1990. She is currently employed full time for Plano ISD. She was a school nurse for six years at Miller Elementary(K-5). Currently she also works as needed for Texas Health Allen in Newborn Nuoseoy, NICU. Her two twin boys, Nick(10) and Chris(10), and their sister Veronica(12) are currently-enrolled campers here at Anderson.
