Ryan Baier
Denver, Colorado
Ryan joins us this summer as one of a few counselors who were previously campers. In Ryan's case, this will be something like his 8th summer at camp, although only his first on staff. Ryan attends CSU in Ft. Collins, studying Sociology and Criminology. A healthy love of the outdoors and food, have brought Ryan back to camp. He can especially be seen in, on, or around the water, as he claims to be part fish.

Jay Hoogacker
Atlanta, Georgia
Jay hails from the Deep South, and is excited to be up this way in the hills. He attends Young Harris College, studying Physical Education and Recreation, perhaps based on his love for sports, especially football, baseball, and basketball. He is a big fan of camping, and likes backpacking in the hills with his friends. He says he's "just a simple guy that loves to have fun."

Kevin Medema
Elk Grove, Illinois
Kevin joins us from the Midwest, where he studies Recreation Administration at Eastern Illinois University. Kevin is a sports enthusiast, and plays for the rugby team at school. Kevin's career plans include law enforcement, ninja warrior, and outdoor recreation.

Rich Ombrembowski
Earth
Rich has not yet given me a bio, but seems like an okay guy despite that. He recently finished a humanitarian project in Nicauragua, right before coming to camp.

Jacob Rippy
Walkerton, Indiana
Jake joins us from Indiana University, where he studies Exercise Science, when he's not out and about. He is known to be hiking, running, or biking in his spare time, and is an avid archer. Sometime in the future, Jake plans to adventure, and although he'd like to end up in Colorado via the world, he's not quite set on an itinerary yet. He'd also like to find work as either a Super Hero or an Outdoor Spiritual Adventure Guide.

William Trakas
Blue Springs, Missouri
Will is another camper who enjoyed his tenure enough to return to the working side of things. He currently attends Tulane University in New Orleans, studying architecture. He is a fan of the outdoors in general, and of coloring books and puppies. He has been known to play frisbee, football, lacrosse, curling, and with fire. He is excited to give back to a place that meant so much to him as a child.

Brendan Kiefer
Nashville, Tennesee
Counselor Emeritus

Unfortunately, Brendan could not remain with us this summer due to medical complications. Our thoughts and prayers are with him, and we hope to see him again soon.
