Christopher Porter

You could say that Christopher has camp in his blood. Christopher came as a camper for seven summers and then worked during high school and college. After graduating from Loyola Marymount University, he headed to Dallas, Texas to play rugby and start a career in the Import Business. While in Dallas his thoughts were never far from camp and in 1997 he returned to his childhood home of Glenwood Springs to work year round at the camp. Christopher now leases the camp, and he cannot imagine a better place to raise his four children Tucker (8), Tessa (7), Brody (5), and Ruby Belle (4).

As a native Coloradoan I spent a large portion of my childhood being able to experience the majestic Rocky Mountains and all the adventures they have to offer. I have always dreamed of working in a field where I was able to combine my passion for the outdoors with my fondness for the education and development of young minds. Here at Anderson Camps I have found that, and I truly enjoy being able to share these experiences with the campers.
