During each session, all the campers leave for an extended trip of their choice, and a two night rafting trip is often the most popular choice among the campers. This rafting trip is typically on part of the Colorado River, often including the rapids of the Westwater Canyon in Utah. Along with rafting the rapids, campers will get the opportunity to swim and float around, explore the river banks and beaches, and sleep out under the stars if they so choose. During this trip campers learn the necessary skills for extended camping in the outdoors, the importance of good conservation practices, and protecting our environment.
