Clothing and Equipment List

The following list is provided as a suggestion of clothing needs. Feel free to change and adapt the list according to your individual requirements and interests. Keep in mind Rocky Mountain weather is often cool, especially in the evenings and afternoon rain showers are a possibility so adequate protection is a must. Camp is a good place for old clothes. BE SURE EVERY ITEM IS CLEARLY MARKED.

CLOTHING ___  wool blankets or comforter* ___  set twin bed size sheets* ___  set pillow cases* ___  bath towels ___  beach towel ___  wash cloths ___  pairs jeans ___  pair sweats ___  pairs shorts (some nylon) ___  swimsuit (preferably 1 piece for women) ___  set nice clothes ___  cotton T- shirts ___  warm synthetic shirts ___  pair cotton socks, 2 pairs wool socks ___  ample supply of underwear ___  pair warm pajamas ___  pair hiking boots (broken in) ___  pair tennis shoes (1old pair for playaking) ___  pair sandals (e.g. Tevas, w/straps for rafting) ___  sweaters/sweatshirts or fleece ___  warm weather proof jacket (hooded is best) ___  pair long underwear ___  baseball hat ___  pair gloves (cotton/leather/wool) ___  warm hat ___  bandanna EQUIPMENT ___  sleeping bag, (down, Hollofill or Polarguard light enough for backpacking & with a waterproof stuff bag) or just warm and lightweight ___  flashlight or headlamp (bring extra batteries) ___  duffelbag (to pack for extended trips)
