Cabin Campouts

Every session each cabin pairs with another cabin to depart on their cabin campout. The older campers get to backpack into the wilderness. The younger campers get dropped off at their campground with all the supplies they would need. Campers learn the necessary skills for camping in the outdoors, the importance of good conservation practices, and protecting our environment. Campers will not only gain an increased appreciation for the beauty of the high mountain country, but also an increased self-confidence. Once the tents are set and fire built, the fun can begin. Boys can be boys and girls can be girls. It allows the counselors to really get to know the campers and every camper gets real camping experience!
